Teach and help improve any young athlete the most basic fundamentals of basketball in order to compete with skill at their current / next level. This camp is intended to be non-threatening environment for kids to improve their skills at all levels.

Focus of the Clinic
-Players to perform “drills” at “game tempo” as much as possible.
-Drills intended to create game situations and promote teamwork through group drills against other groups.
-Players are asked to continue practicing the same drills during the next week at home.
-Drills used in clinic intended to promote “team” efforts and to be good winners / losers.
-Drills intended to improve skill level and taught to prevent injuries
-Last day “parent night” for parents to watch own kids play-observe for improvement.
-St. Mary coaching staff encouraged to come and observe players to help plan practices starting in the fall.
-Camp allows players to develop chemistry / friendship during the summer and be ready to work in the fall when practices begin.

Each week camp will focus on low post position and guards during the first hour, then focusing on team play the rest of the session.
